The songs that i'm currently enjoying whilst going through a wild time emotionally. This is my virgin post so i'll put a few :D Enjoy!!

1. Five O'clock Heroes Feat. Agyness Deyn
British Supermodel Agyness Deyn's single! Debutes 23rd June. Love the song!

2. Mariah Carey - Bye Bye
This is for my peoples
Who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby
Your man or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye

My dear friend just lost her grandmother and i dedicated this song to her.
The lyrics is really meaningfull and i simply love the tune of the chorus.

3. The Pierces - Secret
Cause two can keep a secret
If one of them is dead…

One of Gossip Girl's song, love it tons!

4. Jewel - Again and Again
And if you will, I will
Try to let it go.
And if you try, I'll try
Try to let it show us the way
'Cause love is here to stay

5. Jessy - Dancing In The Dark
my heart cries out to you
you must forgive me
I've been dancing in the dark
I've been searching for a spark
of fire still burning
I believe we'll make it through
if you stand by me
we can weather any storm
and keep each other warm
as long as there's love

Savoury cupcakes?
Hi everyone, I've got a bit of a strange request. This community has been very helpful in the past for recipe suggestions so I thought I'd turn this over to your collective wisdom!

My friends and I are soon to be hosting a "dreams" themed party and I thought I could make dream food-symbolism cupcakes. Obviously I'll make a whole host of nice flavours (chocolate, coconut, banana etc etc) but I thought it would also be fun to make a few savoury, and perhaps not-so-palatable ones. I'm thinking bacon, cheese, garlic and possibly onion. I'll probably just wing it with these but if anyone has any helpful suggestions I'd be really grateful!

Also, savoury icing? Could that work? I really want to do it but I can't think how it could be possible!

Thankyou in advance for any help, a picture post will soon follow I promise.

Show and Tell!

Song Format(s): All iTunes compatible. I'm not sure what format that is. .mp4?

1. Hong Kong Garden by Siouxsie and the Banshees
I just like the feel to this song. It's upbeat and has a variety of tunes playing at the same time. It's a good driving song.

2. Ever Fallen In Love by Nouvelle Vague (Buzzcocks cover.)
I love this cover. It's catchy and I think the lead singer has an adorable voice that really contrasts with the original version of this song. It's as fast-paced as the original but not as intense.

3. Hall of the Mountain King by Apocalyptica (Instrumental)

4. Tarzan and Jane by Toy Box (The filename might say that it's by Aqua, but that's just the name that I downloaded it under. Don't be fooled!)
ADORABLE. Toy Box is a lot like Aqua and this song is cutesy and gets stuck in your head on repeat.

5. EXPLICIT LANGUAGE. Warning! :O
Bitches Ain't Shit by Ben Folds (EXPLICIT LANGUAGE. Dr. Dre cover.)

Extremely comical. I know all the words by heart. It's an acquired taste, though, I guess. If you don't find humor in vulgarity, then this isn't the song for you. This version of the rap song is sung like a typical Ben Folds song, therein lies the humor.

6. Because by Elliot Smith (Beatles cover.)
Oooh shivers.

7. Stop! by Erasure
It's so fun! I've been told that there's too much going on in it instrumentally, but I find that entertaining.

8. Otto Titsling by Bette Midler
Lulz. Do you buy a Titsling or do you buy a Brassiere?

9. Knock 'Em Out by Lily Allen

10. I Feel Pretty from The West Side Story (I always think about Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler singing this in Anger Management. Hehehe.)
I listen to this when I blow dry my hair.

11. Violin Concerto in D by Tchaikovsky

12. His Cheeseburger from Veggie Tales
Well, it's Veggie Tales, so it's of course geared towards a younger audience. It tells of the love between a boy and his cheeseburger. It's a love ballad of sorts. You'll love it if you have a heart and a soft spot for vegetables with strange accents. ;]

FAQ- ABOUT JOINING.
If i cut you off the list and you requested to join again, well, perhaps you should examine WHY you were cut off in the first place.

i do not accept requests for those who have icons with no credit for ANYTHING and no profile and no journal.
it's not that hard; if you credit ANYWHERE public for your icons/layout you will be accepted,

those who simply don't credit or use my icons, don't bother requesting to join; its a waste of my time.

if, however, you put credit and i didn't see it, you may comment here to ask to be approved to join.

first post! rainbow cupcakes!
this is my first post in this cute little community, and i'm sorry - but i had to. the rainbow cupcakes everyone here has made have all been so effing adorable, so i had to try some myself!

i used the pilsbury white cake box mix because i love it and, since this was already going to be messy enough, i figured it was excusable this time.

Ship-able things
Dear Wonderful Bakers,
My boyfriend lives across the country :( I send him cookies often, but he's trying to get in shape and cookies are sort of counter-productive. What items could I make that are healthy and won't die a horrible death if I ship them to him? I was considering fruit tarts or something of the sort, but I really think those are too delicate to make it through the mail. Do you have any ideas? Healthy-ish cookie recipes are welcome, too, if you have some that you love.
My boyfriend and I thank you!

Rainbow cupcakes [plus some mini ones!]
I know, I know...everyone is probably sick of rainbow cupcakes. This was my first opportunity to make them [I just returned home for the summer] and I figured my sister would love these for her 15th birthday. This was also my first time piping frosting, but it didn't work out too well. I use a softer buttercream, so it doesn't hold up too well.

Peanut butter and banana blondies
So, I wanted to bake something quick the other day when my friend was coming over to watch some anime. I wasn't in the mood for cookies, or too much chocolate. I did, however, have an overripe banana and some peanut butter that I'd bought specifically so I could bake with it. And I was feeling creative! So, this is what I concocted!

Deliciousness! )
